User Guide for Foreign Users

How to sign up and purchase an External Monthly Parking Pass (외부정기권) using the TuruPARKING app.

Install the App

Search for "TuruPARKING" or "투루파킹" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and download the app.

Tip The app interface is in Korean. This guide explains each screen in English so you always know what to tap.

Sign Up

You must create an account to purchase a monthly parking pass. The registration process requires Korean mobile number identity verification (PASS authentication).
⚠️

Korean phone number required Identity verification via PASS uses a Korean carrier (SK Telecom, KT, or LG U+). If you do not have a Korean number, you will not be able to complete verification.

Step-by-Step Sign Up Flow

Tap "회원가입" (Sign Up) On the login screen, tap the orange "회원가입" button at the bottom.

Start Identity Verification Tap "본인인증" (Verify Identity). A screen will appear asking you to begin the verification process.

PASS Authentication Select your Korean mobile carrier (SK Telecom / KT / LG U+). You can authenticate via the PASS app or by SMS code ("문자SMS로 인증하기").

Agree to Terms Check all required boxes marked "[필수]" (Required). Tap "다음" (Next) to continue.

Enter ID & Password Create your ID (영문+숫자, no special chars) and a password of 8–20 characters including letters, numbers, and special characters.

Registration Complete Tap "투루파킹 시작" (Start TuruPARKING). You are now logged in and ready to use the app.

Log In

Once registered, you are logged in automatically. If you are logged out, return to the login screen to sign in again.

How to Log In

    Go to "내 정보" (My Info) tab (bottom right) → tap the > arrow next to "로그인이 필요합니다" (Login required).

    Enter your 아이디 (ID) and 비밀번호 (Password), then tap the "로그인" button.

    If you forgot your account details, tap "계정찾기" (Find Account) to recover via identity verification.

Find a Parking Lot

The home screen shows a map of nearby parking lots. Tap any pin to see details, or use the search bar to find a specific location.

Passes currently on sale. You can purchase immediately and use right away.

Passes on sale, but for future use — not usable on the day of purchase.

Sold Out. No external passes can be purchased at this lot right now.

What to Check on the Detail Page

  • 이용권 — Available passes for this lot. Select one to activate the "이용권 구매" (Buy Pass) button.
  • 주차장 정보 / 운영시간 — Operating hours (평일 = weekday, 토요일 = Saturday, 일요일 = Sunday/holiday) and fee schedule.
  • 주차장 이용 안내사항 — Important notices for this specific lot. Read before purchasing.
  • "이용권 구매" button at the bottom — tap to proceed to purchase.

Purchase a Monthly Parking Pass

This is the most important section. Follow all steps carefully. You must be logged in before purchasing. The purchase screen is called "이용권 구매".

Purchase Page Structure — 4 Sections to Fill In

  • 상품정보 (Product Info) — Confirms the parking lot and pass type you selected. Read-only.
  • 이용정보 (Usage Info) — Set your start date (이용기간) and vehicle number (이용차량). Both must be filled in.
  • 결제정보 (Payment Info) — Choose your payment method (card or bank transfer), and opt in/out of auto-renewal (자동갱신).
  • "이용권 결제" button — Final button to place the order. Only active when all fields are filled.

① Selecting the Usage Period (이용기간)

The end date is calculated automatically based on the start date you choose. You only pick the start date — the system sets the end date for you.

💡

After selecting a date, the screen shows a breakdown of the total amount. Confirm the amounts before tapping "선택완료" (Confirm Selection).

② Selecting Your Vehicle (이용차량)

You will see "등록한 차량번호가 없습니다." Tap "+ 이용차량 추가" to add a new vehicle. Enter your Korean license plate number (e.g. 123가1234) and a nickname (e.g. My Car).

A list of your saved vehicles appears. Tap the one you want to use, then tap "선택완료" (Confirm Selection) at the bottom.

⚠️

Korean license plate format required. Only Korean-format plate numbers are accepted (e.g., 12가1234 or 서울12가1234). Spaces are not allowed.

③ Selecting Your Payment Method (결제수단) & Auto-Renewal (자동갱신)

This is the most critical step. Choose between Credit/Debit Card (신용/체크카드) and Bank Transfer (무통장입금). Only card payments support the auto-renewal feature.

Select "신용/체크카드" (Credit/Debit Card) Tap the radio button next to "신용/체크카드".

Choose or Add a Card If you have a saved card, select it from the "카드 선택" (Select Card) dropdown. If not, tap "새 카드 추가" (Add New Card) and enter your card details. (See Section 06 — Card Registration for details.)

Set Auto-Renewal (자동갱신) ← Important! See the auto-renewal section below. Choose "자동 갱신에 동의" (Agree) or "갱신 안함" (No renewal).

Tap "이용권 결제" (Pay for Pass) The payment is processed immediately. Upon success, your pass is activated right away.
💡

Card payment = instant activation. As soon as the payment is approved, your parking pass becomes active and you can enter the parking lot.

Bank transfer flow

Select "무통장 입금" (Bank Transfer) Tap the radio button at the top of the payment selection screen.

Select Your Bank (입금 은행 선택) Tap the "은행 선택" (Select Bank) dropdown and choose the bank you will transfer from. A virtual account (가상계좌) will be created for that bank.

Enter Cash Receipt Info (현금영수증) Optionally enter your personal or business number for a cash receipt. You can skip this if not needed.

Transfer the Exact Amount After placing the order, you will receive a virtual account number. Transfer the exact amount shown before the deadline (usually within 6 hours).
⚠️

Bank transfer = delayed activation. Your pass is NOT active until the transfer is confirmed (checked every ~1 minute). Auto-renewal is NOT available with bank transfer.

Auto-Renewal (자동갱신) — Card Payments Only

🔄

Auto-renewal is only available when paying by card. If enabled, the registered card will be charged automatically each month, renewing your pass without any action on your part.

자동 갱신에 동의 ✓

Agree to Auto-Renewal. Your card is charged automatically on the renewal date each month. You don't need to do anything — the pass renews itself. You can cancel auto-renewal later from your usage history.

갱신 안함 ○

No Auto-Renewal. The pass expires at the end of the period. You will need to manually renew it from the usage history screen (available 5 days before expiry).

💡

You can change your auto-renewal setting at any time by going to the usage history detail for that pass and tapping "설정 >" next to "자동 갱신".

④ Agree to Terms & Place Order

    On the purchase page, tap "이용권 결제" (Pay for Pass). A terms popup appears — tap "취소 환불 정책" to review the cancellation policy, then tap "약관 동의" to agree.

    Once all required terms are checked, tap "결제 진행" (Proceed to Payment) to finalize the order.

Manage Your Account

From the "내 정보" (My Info) tab, you can register payment cards, manage vehicles, and check your usage history.

Go to 내 정보 → 결제수단 관리 Tap the bottom navigation "내 정보" tab, then tap "결제수단 관리" (Payment Method Management).

Tap "결제수단 등록" (Register Payment) On the card management screen, tap the orange "결제수단 등록" button.

Select Card Type (카드 구분) Choose one: 개인 명의의 개인 카드 (Personal card in personal name), 개인 명의의 법인 카드 (Corporate card in personal name), or 법인 명의의 법인 공용 카드 (Corporate shared card).

Enter Card Details Fill in: 카드사 (Card issuer), 카드 번호 (Card number), 소유자 생년월일 6자리 (Date of birth, 6 digits: YYMMDD), 카드 유효기간 (Expiry: MM/YY), 비밀번호 앞 2자리 (First 2 digits of PIN).

Agree to Terms & Confirm Check all "[필수]" boxes and tap "카드 등록" (Register Card). A success screen confirms the card was saved.
⚠️

Up to 5 cards can be registered. A card set for auto-renewal cannot be deleted until you first turn off auto-renewal from the usage history detail screen.

How to Register a Vehicle

    Go to 내 정보 → 차량번호 관리, then tap "차량 등록" (Register Vehicle).

    Enter your Korean license plate number exactly — no spaces. Example: 123가1234 or 서울12가1234.

    Enter a 차량 별명 (nickname) such as "내 차" (My Car) to identify it easily.
  • 4
    Tap "차량 등록" to save. Up to 20 vehicles can be registered.

Checking Your Usage History (이용내역)

After purchasing a pass, you can track its status anytime from the "이용내역" (Usage History) tab in the bottom navigation bar. You must be logged in to see your history.

  • 예약 대기 Pending Reservation
    Order created via bank transfer. Awaiting payment deposit confirmation.
  • 📅
    예약 완료 Reservation Confirmed
    Payment confirmed. Pass is reserved but the usage start date has not arrived yet.
  • 이용 중 Active (In Use)
    Pass is currently active. You can enter and exit the parking lot freely.
  • 🏁
    이용 종료 Service Ended
    Pass has expired. Renew or purchase a new pass to continue using the parking lot.
  • 취소 Cancelled
    Order was cancelled. Check refund details in the usage history.
💡

Use the year selector (e.g., 2024 ∨) at the top of the usage history screen to view orders from previous years.

Tap "상세 내역 >" on any pass in your usage history to see full details, manage renewal, or cancel.

What to do when status is 예약 대기

  • 1
    Find the 입금 계좌 (Deposit Account) section — it shows the bank name, virtual account number, depositor name, deadline, and the exact amount to transfer.
  • 2
    Transfer the exact amount to the account number shown before the deadline. Payment is verified automatically approximately every 1 minute.
  • 3
    Once confirmed, the status changes to 예약 완료 or 이용 중 depending on the start date.
  • 4
    You can still change your 이용 차량 (vehicle) at this stage by tapping the dropdown next to your plate number.
⚠️

If you do not deposit before the deadline, the order will be automatically cancelled and the reserved parking slot will be released.

Key items on the Confirmed screen

  • 자동 갱신 (Auto-Renewal) — Shows your current setting. Tap "설정 >" to change it at any time before the renewal date.
  • 결제 정보 (Payment Info) — Shows the transaction date, amount, and approval number. Tap "영수증 >" to view the receipt.
  • 예약 취소 (Cancel Reservation) — You can cancel at this stage. The cancellation policy applies — review the refund amount before confirming.

Renewing Your Pass (갱신)

Renewal becomes available 5 days before expiry. From that point, a "갱신 >" button appears on your usage detail screen. The next pass period is always the full month following the current end date.

자동 갱신 (Auto)

Auto-Renewal Enabled: The registered card is charged automatically on the renewal date. No action needed from you. Check your usage history the next day to confirm the new pass was created.

수동 갱신 (Manual)

Auto-Renewal Off: Tap "갱신 >" when it appears (5 days before expiry). A new order screen opens — follow the same payment steps as a new purchase.

    From the usage detail screen, tap "설정 >" next to 자동갱신.

    Select "자동 갱신에 동의" (Enable) or "갱신 안함" (Disable). Choose the card to use for auto-payment.

    Tap "수정 완료" (Save Changes) to apply. The setting takes effect immediately.

On the manual renewal screen, the usage period is pre-filled (next month, 1st to last day). You can change the vehicle but not the period. Payment options: card or bank transfer.

    The pass is no longer valid. You cannot enter the parking lot with an expired pass.
  • If the pass was renewed, the 갱신 정보 section shows "이용 기간을 갱신했습니다" (Renewed). Check your history for the new active pass.
  • If not renewed, "이용 기간이 완전히 종료되었습니다" appears. Purchase a new pass to continue parking.

Cancelling a Pass (취소)

Cancelling a pending (bank transfer) order:
No payment has been made yet, so cancellation is immediate and free. The reserved slot is released.

결제 완료 주문 취소

Cancelling a paid order:
A cancellation fee applies. The refund amount = Total paid − (daily fee × days used × parking lot fee) − 20% cancellation fee. Review the refund amount carefully before confirming.

⚠️

Cancellations cannot be undone. Once cancelled, the reserved parking slot is released and you will need to purchase a new pass.
